“Every Christian is either a missionary or an imposter.”
Charles Haddon Spurgeon
“Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit.A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.” –Matthew 7:15-20
Change is not an easy thing for us, but change is necessary if there is to be growth. We can either let circumstances and problems shape us through the time they are happening or let them defeat us, but it is through the process of change, our metamorphosis, our character is strengthened; that time of change is a time for learning what our strengths and weaknesses are. Rather than fight whatever problem or circumstances you find yourself in, embrace it. Ask yourself what can you learn even through the most difficult times of life. The end result of change is all of us being made more beautiful.
Laughter is a good thing. Laugh when you can. Laugh at yourself. You have to have a sense of humor in this life. Life is far too short to be taken so seriously. Yes, serious things happen in life; that’s why you should laugh.
The only thing that keeps you from moving forward is you.
Get out of your own way, and take a chance.
While there are many opportunities that will cross your path in your lifetime, opportunities do pass. Don’t let opportunities pass by you because you’re scared of trying or because you’re scared of failing. Take hold of them. You’ll never know what you’re capable of until you take the first step. By taking a chance, you won’t have regrets afterwards.
